The United Shield Mine Clearance Suit/Search Suit is designed to be worn by Mine Clearance personnel. It is a complete coverage suit providing fragmentation protection to the whole body including arms and legs.

Trousers, jacket ,sleeves and ballistic helmet with face shield.

Armour Solutions
Armour Solutions are designed to meet specific threats and can include hard armour plates for enhanced protection.

Sizes
Full size range is available from Small to XX Large.

Colour and Fabrics
A wide selection of colours are available and specialist fabrics can be used if required. These include camouflage and flame retardant fabrics.

Options
A hard wearing carrying bag is available for storage and protection of the suit and helmet.

Mine Clearance Shield~A shield specifically designed for the specialist requirements of those dealing with dangerous ordnance. And offers good protection from small anti-personal mines in mine clearance operations. It has a stand alone design for greater flexibility in the work environment.~General Description
A special shield designed specifically for mine clearance work and the operatives that require protection from small anti-personnel mines during clearance operations.

The shield has two telescopic legs that can be placed into the ground to support it in the upright position. A view port is located centrally, below which there is a sliding hatch for the use of a manipulator.

Colours
Standard colours are Black or Olive drab. Other colours are available to special order.

Ballistic Performance
Fragmentation Resistance - 17 grain V50 in accordance with STANAG 2920 - 650m/sec

Trouser with elasticated braces, jacket, collar, & groin protector, sleeves, overboots, blast plates chest and groin, ballistic helmet, visor, demister, spinal protector, carrying bag.

Armour Solutions
Armour is designed to either STANAG 2920 or MIL 662F. Standard levels of protection exceed V50 450 m/sec.

Sizes
Available sizes are Small, Medium and Large.

Colour
Standard colour is Olive Drab. Other colours and materials are available on request.

Accessories
Cooling helmet, communications, protective gloves, chemical agent suit, mine protective boots and helmet mounted light.
